This has to be the largest infestation of spider mites I have ever seen on a single plant I own! I saw the plant looked a little dusty with yellowing edges. A closer look showed that it was covered with a thin, fine webbing both on the front and on the back of three leaves. It was between the base of the leaf and the stem, as well. It looked like sheer stockings! I took it outside and saturated the leaves and stems will a rubbing alcohol spray solution. The dirty looking fine grit are dead spider mites. The yellowing edges are the aftermath of the colony sucking the sap and chewing into the leaves. I think they got onto the plant the 10 days I had it outside in warm weather. I brought it back in and obviously didnāt inspect it carefully enough. None of the other nearby plants appear affected. I started spraying all of them with alcohol to be safe. š©šš
