Good morning, Our Pilea recently got these yellow spots on its leaves, curious if this means that there’s root rot?

Most likely it is root rot from overwatering...
0 Likes😔 awe okay. Thank you Zoey
0 LikesI wouldn't worry to much may want to cut the root rot and change the dirt
0 LikesI can change the dirt, however will the plant go into shock with it being winter right now? I’m located in LA, so it’s not snowing but it is cold.
0 LikesHm...maybe put it in the warmest room you have? And use a growth light if you have one.
0 LikesAlso matters how cold, most plants want like 60s to 70 degrees F
0 LikesOur weather has been up and down. The past two days it got to high 70s but then dropped down to the low 50s in the evening. My partner and I started watering a lot less since the temperature dropped in the fall. Perhaps the cold has impacted the plant. We’ll try to keep it in a warmer temperature controlled room.
0 LikesIf it makes you feel any better...it's around 0 degrees where I am and my plants are doing just fine...
0 LikesI would just pinch that leaf off. Leaves don’t stay forever. They yellow and drop off eventually. I don’t think it’s root rot. They yellow and other leaves look very healthy.
