Help!! First time ever dealing with spider mites. I have a large collection, over 60 plants that are all touching each other in some way. I noticed webbing on a dieffenbachia, and immediately quarantined her from all of the others. sprayed all of my plants with a concoction of water, 70% rubbing alcohol, neem oil, and peppermint castille soap. Noticed webbing on my Syngonium and maranta. Are my plants goners? This has all been over the span of a few days. What are the best tips for controlling and eradicating the mites? I’m worried about cleaning each leaf because I have many plants, and many are big vining plants (Brasil, marble Queen, lemon lime philodendron, micans, etc). Please let me know your best tips🥲 considering predatory mites and upping my humidity (usually sits around 60-70%)

    I don’t think your plants are necessarily goners. I’d trim any heavily infested leaves, and be consistent with treatment. Could take weeks. But if consistent with a good enough treatment concoction, you’ll see them less and less. I don’t play with infestations so I go straight to Dead AF spray. I’d get the predatory mites honestly with that level of plants and spread over small amount of time.

    You can put hardy plants in the shower to help physically wash away the mites/their webs, and then spray the neem oil as a preventative. It will take diligent treatment for weeks to be sure they’re gone (the mites, your plants are okay).
