Wolfen 🐺If you got it like this with no history. I'd just clip it, keep an eye out for pests while it's in quarantine. It could just be an older leaf, or could indicate a need to repot and check roots. If more start yellowing

Im not too sure the type of plant it is. The only backstory I have is that it's 8 years old
