Why are bases of the branches of my fiddle leaf fig dark? Is this a fungus problem?

    Mine is the same, but just on the older leaves. I think that has something to do with it. The Young leaves don't have it yet.

    Just like trees, they begin with a simple stem, and as they mature, it becomes woody. It's a beautiful process of growth and transformation.
