Just bought a Monstera Thai Constellation, and I noticed three little bumps, at the bottom of a stem. Not quite sure what is it and Iām scared to find out š Does someone know? Thanks for guiding a newbie!

If they are fairly small that could be scale. Try to scrape them off with your thumbnail. Do you find them anywhere else? I think I would do a preventative treatment just in case. You can use a granular systemic pesticide or spray them with all seasons oil or neem. You'll have to treat more than once and make sure you treat the whole plant.
1 gillaThank you!! They are the size of the tip of a ballpoint pen. I took a tissue with some rubbing alcohol to remove them. Havenāt found anything in them. Iāll keep my plant in quarantine, and Iāll go to get a pesticide treatment just in case. Fingers crossed š¤š¼
0 gillningarIt looks like aerial roots to me. They're nothing to worry about if they are aerial roots :)
2 gillningarI was able to remove them with a tissue. So, I donāt think they were roots. Out of curiosity, wouldnāt it be surprising to have 3 aerial roots coming out form the same spot?
1 gillaThree aerial roots can come from the same area. Check the bumps for signs of insect parts underneath. If no bugs, then, it could be aerial roots, odd growths or some old insect egg casings.
2 gillningarI think it was old insect egg casings since they were hollow and empty. Iāll still treat my plant, just in case. Better be safe than sorry, right?!
2 gillningarIt shouldnāt hurt to treat it for pests.
1 gillaYep better safe than sorry
