Hmmm, mine grow outside in a flower bed so I might not be much help, but I’ll try. 😊 Mine look rough like this when it gets too hot or they need more water. So maybe try more water or fertilizing them? Mine are in a bed that was amended with compost 2 years ago and with flowers and bushes that get fertilized with flower fertilizer. I don’t specifically fertilize them because they have never acted like they need anything but they are so close to the other plants, they are probably getting some of their fertilizer too.

I thought it might be underwatering as well, but the soil is pretty moist so I’m hesitant to water again. I might try fertilizer, thank you for the advice :)

Something else I saw (but forgot to screenshot) said they like to be in compost rich beds. That makes it even more sound like fertilizer is very important for them. Try an all purpose houseplant food if you have one. That looked like a commonly recommended one for them. I hope they perk up soon! ❤️

What is the red material on the soil?

It’s cinnamon to keep pests away :)

It could be a few things causing it to look this way: - Fungus gnat larvae eating the roots due to excess water in the soil. - Overwatering or standing in wet soil too long (I.e., the soil is not drying out between watering) causing root rot - Plant is going dormant due to temperature drop, low light or insufficient water - Insufficient light when the plant likes full direct sunlight I recommend the following: Letting the soil dry completely between watering. Use Mosquito Bits or Bti drops in the water to kill off pests that live in the soil. Add a grow light or gradually move the plant to a location where it can get at least 8 hours of direct sunlight. Fertilize at least once a month with 50% diluted liquid fertilizer or use Osmocote (timed release fertilizer). It will regrow new leaves if it goes dormant or the leaves die off. See my picture.

The same plant 2 weeks later fully recovered. The old leaves died off. The new leaves took over.
