Hi 🌱 Does anyone have any advice on how to get rid of little flies? I’ve tried a soil spray which helped for a little bit but they’ve come back and I don’t want to keep using that spray continuously because I don’t know how it’ll effect my plants roots and soil. Any other ideas? Thankyou so much 🩵

I’ve recently used insect spray around mine which worked🥰

If they’re fungus gnats (they look like tiny mosquitos) I’ve been having a horrible time getting rid of them. You can try using mosquito bits or nematodes SF.

So, you can use systematic granules to target the larvae in the soil, and then sticky fungal gnat traps for the adults, it also helps to have a good watering schedule

Hydrogen peroxide diluted in water 1 peroxide to 4 parts water and use two water plants. Along with the zeevo sticky traps work great. I also put diatomaceous earth on the top layer of soil to help but it’s not very slightly and it had to be reapplied every time it’s watered. Systemic granules are fine if you aren’t against using pesticides so something to keep in mind.

I’ve been using these drops and they are amazing!! I only see a gnat every once in a while whereas before they were OUT OF CONTROL! It’s the same stuff that is in mosquito dunks or bits, just liquid and easier to dispense. One drop per gallon and use every time you water.
