Anyone know why my plant has died? All the flowers are gone and there are white spots on the leaves. It is a Kalanchoe in its original pot (has drainage). Thanks!!!

Ugh I wish I had an answer. I had to give up on my Kalenchoe, did the same thing. Never could figure out what would make her happy and I tried everything.

It’s not dead! Flowering plants like kalanchoe will all eventually drop their flowers. You can trim off any remaining spent flowers and continue care as usual, it will eventually produce new flowers!

It looks like powdery mildew (fungus) on the leaves. Treat with a commercial fungicide or check online for organic remedies. Get good airflow around the plant to help prevent fungus/mold growth. Avoid watering the leaves. Fungus mold grows on the moisture. Check the roots and soil. Constant moisture on the top of the soil makes it easier for fungal growth. 🪴🍀

I've found kalanchoe is vulnerable to root rot and also tends to like water fairly often
