New growth on new zz plant looks like this and on the regular leaves too. Is it too much sun? Iāve had the plant for a little over a month and Iām not sure what to do to help it. New plant mom struggling š©

in my personal experience iām not an expert but a zz was my first plant. that just looks like fresh growth. itās actually not even done growing because the top still has layers. the leaves and stem will darken as the leaves mature. almost like when butterfly wings are drying

saritait just looks like damage from unfurling to me! this can be a humidity issue so, if where the plant is is pretty dry, iād recommend a lil humidifier action. they are usually fine with normal household humidity, so iām wondering if where you got it from was just dry!

JoshDrayYour ZZ plant should not have direct sunlight at all, it thrives in low light conditions, and it loves dry soil, so only water, your ZZ, when the soil is completely dry, and keep it out of direct sunlight
