My plant is dying and idk what’s wrong..I’m gonna get a shallower pot because I heard Thats best but other than that idk

    Is your soil dry or moist? Most common reason for your plants issue is too much moisture. You are using potting soil which makes watering this plant a lot more difficult because your soil holds onto moisture.

      Ok. I’m going to go buy different soil later this week.

    What is it potted in exactly? On your plant picture it looks like a can but do you have a pot inside?

      Because if it is directly in the can, it is most definitely your issue. Kalanchoe tomentosa has a very shallow root system so the bottom of your pot is most likely staying consistently wet and the roots have rotten, causing the plant to not take in water and dry out.

      I did pot it directly in the tin. I am going shopping later this week so I’ll definitely buy a shallower pot.

    How my ch Sun is your plant getting? Mine is in direct Sun for the majority of the day and loves it. Make sure its soil is very airy and you don’t water too much.

      My plant is getting pretty much that amount of sun. I do think I’ve been overwatering because the soil I have holds on to water so I’m gonna go buy new soil in a few days.
