I received this baby alocasia yesterday, the new baby leaf was perfectly healthy. I got home from work today and it’s completely drooped, dried out and looks dead! I’ve watered the plant, will the baby leaf bounce back or not?

    Give it some time. They don’t like a lot of change. When I brought one of my Alocasias home it dropped all but one of its leaves. It’s doing fine now. Just don’t overwater it, they rot easily.

    Seems as if it’s adjusting to the new environment. Just give it some time and let the soil dry out before you water again. Bright indirect light and some loving words should definitely perk it right back up

    Put it on a pebble tray. The babies like humidity.
