   Had mine for about a year, one thing I learned was make sure you’re using filtered water and limit the amount of sunlight. The few brown spots that remain happened before I learned those lessons and, oddly enough, the plant never repaired itself on those leaves.

     Yeah that makes sense. It was gifted to me a few days and the soil was wet, so I haven’t watered it till today and I did use filtered water hopefully it helps. And at for sunlight I have it maybe about a few inches away from the window , but it’s an east facing window it gets the morning sun … when I did receive it I did cut off the burn parts of the leaves but it came back… Yours looks really beautiful 🥰

   Hi! 👋🏾 I have two of these, and I definitely agree about using filtered water. Tanner the Planter also shared a great Calathea care video recently (7/5/26). Just search “Tanner the Planter Calathea care” on Google or YouTube—it should be the first result. He’s currently doing a series featuring a different plant each day. 🌿

   Is that a calathea? Give it to your enemy 😅 but seriously, they picky! Distilled and bright but indirect light. Oh and humidity. Don’t be too hard on yourself if she gets some browning tips. It happens 🤷‍♀️
