Help!! My monstera Peru was doing so well until she got an infestation of spider mites after being attached to a moss pole :( I sprayed down with water and wiped everything with neem oil and repotted in leca. I thought I was being smart since spider mites like dry areas, but then she got root rot!!:((( Now she is back in soil but I’m worried I cut off too many roots. Should I be worried??

When treating root rot, it is necessary to cut off the soft, mushy, or black roots to prevent the rot from spreading. While it can be intimidating to remove a significant portion of the roots, a plant with healthy remaining roots has a better chance of survival than one with rotting roots.
