Hi there, I noticed some yellow and brown spots on my monstera and I just want to double check it isn’t pests or a fungal infection. Dr Planta seems to think it is from under-watering - I often let the leaves begin to curl a bit and the soil dry out before I water, though I’ve recently added planta so hopefully my care improves. I cant see any pests, and I haven’t noticed any on any of my other plants. We did move recently as well, and the monstera went from being up against an east facing window, to almost a meter away from a south-west facing window. It does seem fairly happy otherwise and just put out a new leaf a couple weeks ago. The newer leaves are completely free of spots. Thanks for your help!

    Your monstera's curling leaves could be from under-watering, the stress of being moved, or increased light exposure from the new south-west window. To remedy this, ensure consistent, appropriate watering by checking the soil moisture and watering when the top 1-2 inches are dry, rather than waiting for signs of wilting. Also, check for pests, monitor the plant's new lighting conditions, and provide high humidity if possible, as low humidity can also cause leaves to curl.

    From my experience with plants. Watering issues usually result with brown edges on leaves. These spots on the center part of the leaf with a yellow halo indicate maybe something bacteria or fungal is happening.
