Bottom leaves of fiddle leaf keep breaking off! I’ve had her for 3.5 years and she was doing great until the last year ish (no growth but no leaves breaking off) due to me not being as consistent. I repotted her maybe 2-3 months ago and she immediately grew two leaves but the bottom leaves have been falling off at an alarming rate since. How can I fix this or would it be possible to shorten it so there isn’t this awkward empty area??

I’m not sure I can 100% help you but I can try my best! My fig had been doing okay like yours, not growing but surviving, then I had moved her rooms, she was imitietly happier and was throwing out leaves left and right. THEN I made the mistake of moving her to a slightly shader spot and BOOM she was dropping leave like crazy, she lost her shine and when she did put out new leaves they were riddled with stress spots. Long story short they can be picky, it can definitely be that she is just throwing a tantrum and will be fine but if it really concerns you maybe reevaluate her sun and water amounts? From my experience my plants leaf loss was too little light and the brown spots usually mean too much water.
