Hi there, I’ve had this rubber for a long ole time now. I gave it it’s first trim this year to promote new branching and was more than happy pushing out growth through the summer in greenhouse-like porch it was living in. It always seemed to have a bit of browning on maybe a leaf or so which didn’t seem to affect it much. As the weather changed and the porch started to get really cold. It was moved once I’d seen a larger spot than normal on one of the leaves, expecting it to improve once it had moved to the much warmer and more humid bathroom. However, the spots persist. There are now 4 primary leaves, I’d think, ready to be removed. After a little investigation I’ve found it could be fungal, temperature related, mites, or edema? All have different solutions for removing / leaving leaves / repotting etc I’m pretty certain I’ve deduced it’s not mites; I cant see white dots etc. Therefor, I’m pretty happy to assume it’s heat / humidity related and will be moving her from her sunny bathroom window spot, but I’m lost on whether to remove the leaves and repot or leave be until it clears once it’s in a more stable spot and if someone whos better in the know than I am on these plants in particular has a guess I’d be really grateful. This is my first rubber, and after moving house this year, surviving that, thriving even through the summer, I just want to do the best for her now she’s struggling in the cold :(
