Hey, my plant has browning/crispy tips and one of the leaves even has a hole in. when I got the plant there was already a couple leaves with browning tips. I think this is because of our high mineral well water I’ve been very careful with watering, it’s a well draining cactus mix. I have a mister that I use every other day. I’m trying to figure out if I should pull these leaves off or if I should prune them or something I don’t know what I should do. Btw this is my first plant I ever got and I’m still learning so don’t get mad at me😅

This happened to me and I found out that I had thrips 😔. I hope it’s not water, not thrips, because they are SO hard to get rid of

Oh no, is there any way to tell?

Turn the leaf over and look at the back, personally I have trouble seeing them, but if it progresses u will see dark specs on the bottom (poo and adults). The young ones are pale, tiny, and very difficult to see. But they feed on plant sap (on pretty much every plant) and will basically just suck the life out of ur plants. I’m battling them currently and I’ve had to resort to a strong, systemic pesticide

Thank you. I have had this plant for about a year and a half. I really didn’t think it was any pest. There is some discolored/white spots on the top growth. I don’t know if that’s just new growth or not. I feel like the overall health of the plant isn’t that bad though it’s been pretty healthy.
