I have a white princess, it just grew a white leaf but brown spots have been growing on it… anyone know why? It gets indirect light and adequate water

not sure but it’s gorgeous
0 Me gustaI’ve heard you’re supposed to cut these off as they won’t survive if they don’t have any green as plants need chlorophyll! Maybe that’s why?
1 me gustaThis is correct. The chlorophyll is what makes the green and without it there is no way for a plant to photosynthesize. If you keep it it will turn brown and die off but it will not hurt the overall plant.
2 Me gustaThe white also needs at least some green so it won’t die but it’s still common for the white to get brown

Add silica to your variegated plants. That also helps keep browning away from the white areas. I’d cut it off to help it push out new growth
