Please help - yellow leaves on formerly thriving pothos ): It's been growing consistently for at least 6 months. It started to appear overwatered so I stopped watering as frequently. Could it change so drastically from underwatering?

How’s the stem near the soil? This happened to one of mine after overwatering and the stem had shrivelled at the base. I’m sure I could have saved it but I decided to chop and prop and now have an army of little shoots ready to go back into the big pot.
2件のいいねThe stem seems fine! I didn't want to chop and prop because I loved how long it was getting, but maybe that's the safest way forward!
0件のいいねUsually when they yellow on the older leaves like that it’s a watering issue, most likely overwatering. And if it’s overwatered then root rot will take over. I recommend removing from the contaminated soil, cutting off the rotted roots and try to grow more in water? I hope others will have better advice than me!
2件のいいねUgh, root rot.. I'm nervous to repot since it's winter, but it also seems time. Especially since I hate its current pot lol.
0件のいいねThe other leaves are upright and tight, and all the yellowing it towards the base. I would recommend removing them as they continue to drain nutrients from the plant. One thing that helps is to use a chopstick or stick to poke holes in the soil to manually aerate it. Give it some good light and reduce watering but continue to do it in a schedule or it’ll develop new problems!!
いいね 1件Thank you - do you think the other leaves are looking healthy then? I will try the chopstick method right now!
0件のいいねYes they are both properly colored and firm/pointing well
