I have tried to post my question in various groups, but it isn’t showing up. I have a spider plant outside, and I suspect caterpillars or snails are eating it. How do I treat this?

    I've started to see this on mine as well. Still don't know what is eating it yet. But I'm suspecting caterpillars or grasshoppers. It can't be snails or slugs, the location (yours is hanging) prevents any snails from reaching it. I'd guess an insecticide should work. Mines just a couple nibbles, so not to worried about it right now.

    I hope yours doesn’t worsen. This evening, I intend to comb through mine in search of a culprit. I would hate to lose it. It’s been so full and healthy until this.

      I'm about to bring it indoors. The outside temperatures are starting to drop. Won't be too long before it's too cold for some of my plants.

    Neem oil will help with grasshoppers, if that’s what it is. It’ll help with a lot of other pests as well.

      Thank you! I hope to find a critter but, so far, no luck. I may explore your suggestion if new damage continues.

    It is actually grasshoppers eating it. I have 2 spiders plants on my back porch and found a grasshopper munching away.
