Any Hope?? Has anyone experienced this before? I appreciate any advice. The roots look shredded and she is leaning. Is there any hope for survival?

Chat says my plant roots were dehydrated and not receiving water properly; possibly due to the soil being too dense. It says to repot in a better draining composition of soil, perlite and orchid bark, then water gently and slowly until moist. I’m gonna try it! 🤞🏽🤞🏽

Also, she is probably leaning towards the light, that's why some plants get leggy...

I would expect it to recover just fine under the right care conditions. It honestly looks pretty good overall. I would just put it into a well-draining soil mixture; a good example would be an even mix of equal parts potting soil, perlite, and orchid bark. Make sure the planter has drainage and is only 1-2 inches bigger than the root ball. It was most likely leaning because it was reaching for more light, so giving it more bright indirect light should help with that.

Thanks for your replies! I have repotted and watered. 🤞🏽🤞🏽. She was actually under a grow light so I braced it to see if it will strengthen up. Here we go!
