I bought this monstera last night, and two of the leaves are looking pretty rough. Anyone know what is causing this? And what should I do to fix it? One leaf still looks good

Unfortunately you need to go ahead and prune off the two damaged leaves you can’t restore them they are burnt

Looks like a watering issue. Water the monstera when the top 1-2 inches of soil feel dry. Ensure the pot has drainage holes to prevent overwatering, which can lead to root rot and brown spots on leaves, as seen in the image. Conversely, underwatering can cause the leaves to droop and become crispy.

    1) take the plant out of the pot and check the roots. Do they look firm and lighter colored or dark and mushy? 2) Remove all the dark and mushy roots, hose off all the soil, new soil new pot, trim the two damaged leaves off and hope for new growth!

The roots were all healthy looking! I repotted in a much smaller pot with some fox farm mixed with peat moss and perlite, so fingers crossed I get some new growth🤞
