Hello, hoping to receive some help with my Monstera Monkey Plant. The top layer of the soil is covered in this white furry stuff- but it doesn’t seem to be affecting the growth of my plant as it keeps growing leaves in abundance. Do I need to repot it with more soil?

This is mold. This has to do with the way water is (or is not) moving through the soil. I would get this out of this medium and into something really chunky, adansonii really prefer that, and even hit the roots with a little hydrogen peroxide solution before repotting. these suckers tank quickly when the conditions aren’t right.

I find bottom watering prevents this! Only had it once, switched to bottom watering and it stopped happening!
