    my colocasia esculenta did this and i snipped the leaf and it grew back two big ones, personal preference i’d say

    yellowing leaves typically indicate a problem but i’m not an alocasia expert by any means and have heard they tend to drop lower leaves as they grow new ones. more light will help the plant support more foliage

    if the yellow leaves are at the bottom of the plant (looks like it from the pic), it is just shedding old leaves. just snip them off so the plant can focus it’s energy/nutrients on new growth.
