Our flamingo flower has consistently grown yellow leaves, leaves with yellowing / browning tips/edges, and/or spots on the front and back of the leaves. Any insight on what could be causing this?

No pests or webbing (we’ve been checking thoroughly). It’s getting moderate light (4-5 ft from west facing window in Boston). Soil is all purpose with a bit of cactus soil mixed in. We water based on Planta’s suggestions (every 12-14 days alternating with fertilizer) and mist every 2 days.
2 Me gustaWater when the soil is dry and not strictly by Planta’s schedule or you can over water. Plants grow slower in winter. So, they use less water. Overwatering can cause yellowing leaves. Also, you don’t have a pest problem to blame it on. Additionally, moving the plant closer to bright light can help it use more water and reduce the chance of root rot. 🍀🪴

Thanks Sunny! We work to ensure the soil is dry before watering so don’t think overwatering is the issue at this point.
