When I put my flowers into the pot, for some reason, they started to die with water and sunlight. I don’t know what to do.

How old are they? Maybe you bought flowers that weren’t optimal and didn’t set you up for success? Whenever I buy flowers, I have to give them plant food, cut on an angle, and change the water every single day with ice cubes. I also place them in the fridge at night .

They have been up for a couple weeks and they’re already almost dead

Not sure if you're keeping them live or as cut flowers but: Those are daylilies. Each flower only lasts one day, which is how they got the name. As cut flowers, you'd cut a group of several buds, and expect one flower to open at a time for each bud group. They'd be ephemeral by nature, but going for heirloom varieties and keeping them away from ripening fruits can help a little bit. As live plants, they'd be a bit of an odd indoor choice. They need lots of light. They go entirely dormant (no visible leaves) in winter. During the growing season you'd get mostly leaves, and intermittent flower stalks with 5-6 buds each. (You could improve bloom time by doing several plants in one large pot)

If you want a similar look for a better cut flower, try the true lily family (daylilies look similar but are totally unrelated.) True lilies are very toxic to cats, but last drastically longer when cut
