HELP! I got this pothos not to long ago I repotted and it was good I watered soil once almost completely dry (tap water) and used neem oil on leaves but I’ve noticed all the new growth has brown crispy spots and most of the older leaves are starting to brown at the very tip! Does anyone know what could be causing this and what I should do? I don’t her to die when i just got her lol :(

How much sun does she get? It looks like it could be getting too much direct sunlight and scorching the leaves. Pothos can tolerate pretty low light. The only other thing I can think of would be root rot, but your watering schedule sounds perfectly fine

I highly doubt that it’s rot though, they wouldn’t be crispy if they were rotting

It is about a foot away from a window is that to close?

It depends on what type of window it is, north, south, east, or west. South facing windows get the most amount of sunlight so if it’s right in front of a south facing or even west facing window, it’s probably too much sun.

Idk I’ve had plants do this so I went ahead checked out their roots and ended up finding the start of root rot. Chop off and mushy stinky roots right where it turns firm on the root and then spray the rootball with 3% peroxide. You don’t have to rinse it off or dilute it either. How long ago did you get it?

Okay thank you. I got it May 13th so around a week ago and i repotted it like 2 days after that.

Did the roots look okay then? Pothos love neglect! You can literally forget about them and they’ll thrive. If it’s in a window I’d move it out of the direct light and put it in bright indirect light !
