What’s the best remedy for thrips? I bought a String of Rubies plant on Monday and just now found them on her. I’ve checked all my other plants very thoroughly. I didn’t see any on them. But now I’m nervous. I’m very new to being a plant mama, so I want to make sure I correct the problem and not let the infestation affect my other plants. I’ve already quarantined her to another room that has no other plants, but I want to be proactive in preventing my other girls from them as well. What do I do in this situation?

    First things first my newbies ALWAYS get a full spa day with fresh soil and if I’m using the same pot I wash that out with soap and water, then I set them in the quarantine area (my hallway) and let them sit for at least four days. I also spray them down with neem oil after their baths are done and they are dry. If I’m feeling like I don’t have the energy when I get home with them it the arrive in the mail they are always fine for a day or to just relaxing in the quarantine area just make sure they are watered properly while they are in quarantine and mine always survive with the low light conditions in the hallway. I didn’t do this ONE time and ended up losing more plants than I’d like to even think about!!
