Anyone know what this is, I’ve seen it on my plants twice now ( rubber plant and Monstera) but just had one jump on my leg before coming inside from my porch 👀 google is very unhelpful

    Invasive bug, go by a buncha names but it’s scientific name is Arocatus melonocephalus or reg the elm seed bug.

      SimplyAnita is right. I took a screenshot with my iPhone and it identifies bugs in photos.

    Is it wide or is it long? It looks a little like a stink bug, but it also looks too narrow to be one.

      Hmm. Not a stink bug then, they’re wide. I suspect the above person’s comment is correct, I googled that bug and it looks a lot like that.

      Definitely not a cicada; those are very large and look like this in overall shape

    Maybe not im no bug expert that was just a guess. Maybe use a bug identifier app.

      I saw it in an indoor plant but then one jumped on my leg coming in from watering plants on my porch… I did almost pass out lol

Thank you! Thank! @To the nice girlfriend who apparently “left all the windows wide open to air the lovely plants Foistly -They’re getting ALL that stuff from us CO2 when we breathed out??     So there’s an elm tree outside my house and I recently took a Window unit out right in front of that tree. The window wasn’t sealed properly after taking out the unit. So I can’t be certain but I think it just came in the window crack. I haven’t seen anymore except outside and I’ve investigated like a crack head lol 🙅‍♀️😅 It was on one of my monsteras @SAS

    just bought a “cat palm’ which needs repotting. I use ORGANIC MIRACLE GROW indoors for just about everything. Any other recommendations? Thank you!
