Please help I have this peace lily and it’s drooped about a month now..it’s not over or under watered I’ve placed it in a sunny area a less sunny area it has humidity and it’s not standing up..any advice..I also transplanted back in August…I don’t see any kind of pests, does it need to be separated into smaller plants? Thanks

I would ask a few questions, did you transplant it into the same pot? If it is not over or underwater, has it been taking up water? It definitely needs either a larger pot or to be divided. I think if it were my plant I would divide it. When I divided mine it took some time for it to recover but all pieces did come back. What did the roots look like when you transplanted it?

Did it get exposed to cold temperatures near an outer door or hot temperatures near a vent?

It’s been in the same place since I bought.i moved it to a more sunny area to see if it would do better, but in same room..stayed the same it had a pebble tray under it..I now moved it to a different room 3 days now with 60 percent humidity and bright..I keep a humidifier in the room I brought it to. But no change

Hi there, I transplanted in a larger pot..I left the soil. Around plant and added more soil under plant and above and sides..it was in a10” pot and the one i transplanted it into is 12” but quite a bit deeper..

Even if you don't think its overwatering, id still check the roots, unless you figure out it was something else of course. I just repotted a peace lilly and found out it had root rot, even tho there had been no warning signs. I didnt clean it up very well and repotted and it just went downhill now its in water in a last ditch effort to save it.

If you just gently rub the soil off you should be good, you don't have to do too much just enough to see a few roots. And idk if I just have a bad sense of smell or what, but I don't usually smell anything when just the roots are rotting. If the stem is i do but not usually the roots.

If you put it in a bigger pot you wouldn't need to

When you’re watering is the soil absorbing water? It could be that you have hydrophobic soil so the plants not getting all the water it needs

Is the soil hydro phobic? Give it a good bottom water, even if it takes a whole day to soak up water fully. You may be watering it but the soil may no longer holding onto the water so it might need that soak
