So we have a few problems here… First off, my orchid is clearly not doing well. Also, my global green pothos is not doing well I don’t think. Please leave me tips on how I can save my plants! 🌱

Hi! My Pothos get weird & start to wilt but I’ve experimented & when I sit them in water (I have several) takes a little while (sometimes a day or more) & let them drink water from the holes on the bottom of the pot they Really perk up so I decided no more watering from the top. All my plants do well when I just sit them in a bowl w about a 2 or 3 inch water level. IF they soak up fast & the top isn’t moist yet I just add more water in the bowl but not too much. Feel it out! Good Luck! 😊

Your orchid looks fine! It’s normal for them to drop their flowers and then the flower spikes to die off. Once the spike has turned brown all the way down cut it at the very base. Care for your orchid as usual and it will produce a new spike when its ready (this can sometimes take an extremely long time for no apparent reason).

Orchids actually need a wintering period in order to bloom again, you can trick it to bloom by storing in a cold garage/ wine cooler for a few weeks. Be wary of a fridge though, you don't want the leaves to get frostbite from being too cold
