Anyone know what's going on with this monstera? Ithink it may be thrips but I'm not sure?

how big is that rootball? pot looks a bit too big for the monstie, but could just be the pic. it also kinda looks overwatered to me. have you checked for rotting roots?

i also think you may be overwatering — what’s the pot situation you’ve got going on and how often are you watering? is there drainage?

The pot is about 4x bigger than its origional to be fair.

monsteras like to be a lil root-bound! the suggestion is ~1 inch from either side bigger than the root ball! i’d put this baby in a much smaller pot (with drainage) and that should help your problem! make sure you check the roots for anything mushy (rot) and remove. i would do this as soon as you can because if there is rot, it’ll spread and kill the plant!

also for sizing up future plants, make sure you don’t go too big. you usually just want to go 1-2 inches bigger than the old!

this is supposed to be a safe place for plant advice — commenting on someone’s appearance is pretty inappropriate. not cool dude! you should think a little more about what you’re commenting before hitting send â˜ș
