hopefully someone can help! Iām having my annual battle with fungus gnats and was trying to let the plant dry out before watering with the mosquito bits, but the soil isnāt drying out. I just moved to a new apartment with an east facing window that I keep quite cold and didnāt know if this could be affecting it? Not much I can do about the light unfortunately, but I havenāt had a problem until living here recently PS this soil hasnāt been wetted in probably two weeks
does this pot have drainage holes?

0 gillningarMy first thought is also what plant mother has asked. You might need a chunkier soil mix, Iāve noticed a big decrease in gnats with bottom watering.
2 gillningar agreed and a repot with fresh soil has always been the quickest way to get rid of gnats for me! if this pot just has the one hole in the bottom it could also be āpluggedā with dirt which makes it harder for the water to drain
