This is my maranta and although I’ve been growing plants for many years I have never come across this. The leaves have grown very thin and the colour and lines are pale. If you turn over the leaves they are grayish in colour, not the beautiful maroon it would have. It doesn’t change if I try to wash it off. I’ve search the internet for answers but nothing is jumping out. The roots are healthy with no rot so this is a leaf problem. Anyway, the damage is extensive and I don’t know if I can get a clean cutting. Until I find an answer I don’t really want to introduce another one.

I will definitely let you know. I’ve had this maranta in its many iterations for over 30 years and it’s never given me any trouble. (Except what I caused myself😀). It maybe getting to much attention. lol. Rainwater not tap water, watering regularly (this im thinking may be the issue-overwatering.) I’m going to look at that first. Although the roots looked ok it may be trying to shed extra water thru its leaves. Don’t know but that’s where I’ll start with the smaller one. I’ll post if I figure it out.
