Need advice, I got this cutting of a monstera roughly three weeks ago. It was very well rooted in a cup of water, I rinsed and untangled the roots, used peroxide to make sure no root rot bacteria was present, and put in my normal house plant soil mix of soil/perlite/ orchid bark. It gets plenty of indirect light, the room is humid about 60-70% most days. I use plantas watering schedule and it’s been watered twice now. It has a smaller leaf that seems to be doing okay for now. Is it repot shock, lack of fertilizer?? Anyone have any ideas.

Most likely transplant shock. The roots were use to having a lot of oxygen around them, when we plunk them into soil after being in water the lack of light and oxygen stresses them out. The old leaves will eventually die off but you should get healthy new ones.

Thsts what I was thinking but this is my first monstera. Should I chop this one off once it’s fully yellow?

you can chop once its around 50% yellow, as yellow leaves attract pests. good luck :)

Chop it whenever. I’ve seen some people frame the leaves, it pretty neat.
