I’ve had my bonsai a year now and it has been such a hard plant harder than what I expected. Yes it very much nearly died… BUT it is on the mend and has loads of new leads finally. I was just wondering how I can promote new growth on branches that are bare and have no knee sign of growth
Thank you in advance

I got a juniper bonsai which came in a stone rectangular pot with no drainage hole and rocks that are basically glued together on one side so it’s difficult to remove the tree. I’m wondering how long it can last in there. It also concerns me that there is no drainage hole so I can’t tell how much water it is getting or needs… I think it should be removed somehow, but is it worth the risk? It’s not doing so well right now so I’m going to move it to more light.. worried I’m giving it too much water because I’m overreacting to drying needles :/

Added 2 trees from Lowe’s a Japanese Boxwood and Blue Pacific Juniper. Finally got them in a more trees shape with some wire and cutting.

About a year ago, I planted a Bonzai from a small box kit (you know what I'm taking about) and it never grew. I'm guessing I waited too long? My Great Dane, Bartow, had knocked it over anyway (RIP) and I just recently got another kit maybe a month ago. Wish me luck!
