i just got a new bonsai and one of the leaves has a black bit on it. does this mean it’s over or under watered? or something else?

I bought seeds to grow bonsai how do I get the trees to shape what wire do I need is it a certain type or can u use any

Any tips to grow thicker tree trunks for pre bonsais? I’m growing a dawn redwood right now in a nursery pot and want to get its trunk thicker. Any advice is appreciated!

Ficus has been growing out of the side, and it seems to be the only place where new growth was happening. I tried to trim it, and it just grew back. Suddenly last night, all of the side leaves turned yellow and a brand new couple ones sprouted in the older growth branches on top???

Ignore that this is in a bathroom lol I’m giving it light. I’ve had my ginseng ficus for years and it’s become very leggy. Any pruning tips? I’m nervous and don’t want to kill it :(

Rescued this guy from the Walmart clearance shelf but idk what it is. I’ve never had a bonsai before (always wanted one though), but I figured for $7 it couldn’t hurt to try and bring this one back so, what do we think this is? And how do I make it full of life again? Thanks!

Hey all, I got this Juniper Bonsai for my girlfriend for xmas. Unfortunately I did not realize how intensive the care can be for them. She’s been doing well in the Ohio winter. We put her on the dash of our car on super windy days and sub 20 degree nights. I just wanted to check in with some more knowledgeable people. Does she look like she’s doing alright? The photos are front and back. She’s watered every 2-3 weeks and currently, she’s potted in an all purpose bonsai soil, which is pretty rocky. However, I’ve read recently that junipers might do better in an all purpose potting soil. Any input/help is appreciated, thank’s y’all!
