Any indoor Bonsai plants I can buy to add to my collection? 🧐

The leaf out on this cutting is so much more dramatic than I expected. 3 solid sprouts coming from the right with 2 prominent and 2 extremely small sprouts (hidden in photo) coming up on the left. Excited to see what comes of this dwarf umbrella (Schefflera arboricola).

Hi everyone! I am growing a little sequoia from a seed. It seems that all is proceeding well but I am not sure if it is time to move it to a proper pot. If not, can anyone tell me how to understand when that will be?

New plant baby! Ulmus pavifloria; I didn't pot or style it, just a purchase from Bonsai Outlet. It's 96 degrees here, and while I have a shade cloth outside, I'm not going to be home for a few hours today, so it's in my grow room under some lights.

My Ginseng ❤️ update. I posted her a couple of months ago (or so) worried because she kept dropping leaves. Thanks to all of you who relieved me of my worries, she is now doing great and feels homey with me 🤗. I know her now.

This is a pink azalea bonsai I got for Christmas last year. It did fine for about a week. It’s been struggling since then, it has turned brown and gotten brittle and sickly. I have tried many arrays of plant apps or ai solutions and none have worked, I believe it’s under-watered. Does anyone have ideas of a solution? I have tried watering it a lot more, and watering it a lot less, I recently moved it to a room where it gets less direct light. It’s too soon to tell if that has helped, these are all the things I’ve tried.

Put in its first bonsai pot 3 weeks ago and pruned for the first time today. Here’s some before/after. Trying to clear up some foliage to see the branch structure. After a lot of cuts today, I’m going to let it heal for a while before doing any real structural changes. As always, any and all advice is appreciated!

And progress. I definitely need to work on my gentility because two more branches broke! 🤣 Honestly though I think it looks better now than before anyway. Once the growth season ends I will repot it in this lovely blue ceramic pot at the angle shown, on the right side of the pot. Thoughts?? P.S. sorry for the bad pics lol

Welp. Tried to wire this guy for the first time and broke two branches because I wasn't paying attention. 🤣 Best part is they broke from my fingers not being nimble rather than the actual wiring. Not done with this today, but gotta get some lunch. I'll post an update later.

Please pray for my ficus, Mr. Miyagi. I accidentally overheated him. His roots are well established, so he might still sprout new leaves, but I'm worried about him (the top section died off last year and i kept it to make deadwood)

So I’ve recently bought my first bonsai (juniper) and I think I have a good grasp on taking care of it, but there’s one thing that I’m not sure about. I’m going to be moving around a lot this year for school and family events and I’m the only one I trust to take care of her. However I hear they can get stressed easily so does anyone have any advice on how to keep the poor thing happy while being moved around. Or am I just overthinking this entirely and it’s really not that big of a deal? Thanks in advance for any advice

My very first bonsai, before and after. I wanted to get it into a bigger pot to thicken the trunk, but missed the window for this species. So, left sacrificial branches and hoping to get some good growth next year. Wanting a few indoor plants, but no nursery around me seems to have any.

Jacaranda that I've had for about 2 years now. I kept it mainly in a small pot up until this spring so the growth is minimal. It was dieing but came back and has new growth. Finally reported in a 5inch deeper pot and fertilizing regularly. Is there still hope for alot of growth?

Here are my current bonsai! Three of them are ficus benjamina, being trained into windswept, root-over-ruin, and unexpected deadwood styles. The other one is a fukien tea tree pretending to be an acacia on a savannah
