This Mt. Fuji Serissa is losing leaves. It’s receiving lots of indirect light and followed watering instructions. The leaves that yellow seem to be on the dry side. The pot has drainage so when I water, all of the water drains. Is this normal? Any recommendations?
My Serissa is also very dramatic 😂 I added moss to the top soil of mine to help the plant retain a little moisture between waterings, which I think has helped retain leaves. If they stay really dry for too long the leaves start dropping like flies. I also recommend pruning off any leaves as soon as they start to yellow / decay to help encourage new growth.
3개 좋아요Pull the plant out of the pot it may be root bound so that the water runs through. You could also to dunk the whole pot to make sure it is actually retaining the water.
