Does anyone know when I should do defoliation or if I should do it at all this year?

    Looks like a ginseng ficus, which does not experience winter dormancy like other deciduous plants. They do experience winter stress inside where they drop a bunch of leaves from lack of sunlight in the winter but it is not dormancy (they’re tropicals)
