    Yes, it’s too early. Grafting at this age would cause a lot of stress on the plant and probably kill it. Wait until the tree is more vigorous in terms of growth to consider grafting. I would wait around 1.5 years. Graft in the winter always

      Thank you! I will wait around next year in the winter! I forget that they are dormant during the winter.
