    Spider plants do not grow trunks like regular bonsai because they are not a tree. The whole idea of a bonsai is to be a-small, tree but I think it will still look cool.And I can’t wait to see how it turns out

    Spider plants can never develop a woody stem to become a bonsai, but what you're doing with it is interesting in its own right. As far as woody plants go, i think willows would get the closest on leaf shape

      I understand what you are saying. I believe the roots harden but never become woody. It’s more of an “appearance” of a bonsai. Fun to play with it tho 😉
