I would like to start/get a bonsai for a room without windows. I know such conditions are not fit for growing a strong bonsai, but the room needs some beauty. Any recommendations?

    You could try a ficus, jade or some other “traditional” houseplant that has been trained as a bonsai. But it will need a grow light. I would avoid maple, juniper, oak or any other that needs to be grown outside.
