Hello my friend gift me bonsai and I have those brown leaves is that normal ? Any thought? And do I need to bring grow light ? Since it's inside ? Thank you so much

    I am pretty sure those are just ded leaves. If they are, just cut them off.

      I have a question if need it to be grow inside house what should I do , do I get grow light ?

      Look up what type of lighting your plant needs. I have several bonsai in my house. 2 like full on sun and the other 2 are ok in part sun/some shade. They do well inside.

    They are normal, it would abnormal if it didn’t have any dead leaves. Because there is no such thing as an immortal leaf.

      Yes, a full spectrum white grow light is the best due to mimic sunlight the best and also place it somewhere warm as plants in pots have a lower cold tolerance than ones in the ground. But your house should quite warm compared to outside during winter and the warmest place is found somewhere in the highest floor due to hot air rises and cold air falls.

    I cant tell from the pics, but looks like a Chinese juniper. Needs full light so if you're using artifical light, make sure it's getting 12-14 hours during the summer.
