Any tips to grow thicker tree trunks for pre bonsais? I’m growing a dawn redwood right now in a nursery pot and want to get its trunk thicker. Any advice is appreciated!

      Unfortunately, I live in an apt but I have it in a big pot! Are there any fertilizers I can use to help?

      Bonsai fertilizer don’t promote growth upwards because bonsai are suppose to be small. The product makes greener foliage and leaf density. A regular fertilizer will promote growth and thicken the trunk.
