Fukien tea trees are decent for bonsai beginners. It does take time to train them, but I've had no issues with mine. They do tend to be underwatered when they're sold, so try to find one that isn't crispy/near death when buying

With my Fukien tea tree it actually didn’t dry up that much. 😅 it dropped it leafs cause of overwatering a while ago.
