Any advice for getting this ming aralia to have a more bonsai like structure?

    Bonsai form is developed through rigorous training, such as pruning and wiring. YouTube has a ton of information. Peter Chan at Herons Bonsai is a particular favorite at my house, or as we call him - Edward Scissorhands.

      Thank you it’s been hard to find videos on Ming aralia since they’re not a traditional bonsai and are too fragile to wire

      For pre delete stuff, my husband will tie branches to stakes or tie fishing weights to branches to encourage the desired form.

    Find a style you like search up traditional bonsai styles. Then you can see which one you like.

    I have a dwarf pomegranate that has almost exactly the same form. Don't know what to do with it too.
