Interesting species choice for a bonsai. Be prepared for huge thorns. After it gets established, keep it in a big pot to help it gain size; bonsai pots are for later once its trunk is a good size

I wrote what was on the seed packet. But it’s actually a Japanese Pagoda. I have no idea why it says Locust Tree

It even says the scientific name under it, which is referring to Japanese Pagoda

Interesting. Japenese pagoda tree is also a cool choice; I like the flowers it does
