I have a small PA that I purchased a few moths ago. It has two thick branches that come off the main trunk as you see in the photo. I’m not sure if I would consider this as aesthetically pleasing as a PA with one main thick trunk with its offshoot branches coming from it. Would anyone ever think about splitting these two thick branches into two separate trees?
You could cut and propagate it. Or you could tilt the whole thing and allow branches on the other side to get longer while keeping the existing side branch at its current size. If you leave it connected for a while and let the side branch grow freely, it'll help thicken up the trunk for the main one and you can cut them when you're happy with its girth
